We want EVERYONE to feel comfortable receiving food support.

Financial
F.I.S.H. https://www.friendsinsonomahelping.org is providing rental assistance and is an excellent place to get resources if you are in need of support.

The Chamber of Commerce will begin to support local businesses whose employees might need extra financial help. There will be a link soon on https://www.sonomacity.org to the Chamber directly- the goal will be to get some extra resources into the hands of low wage earners like child care workers who are likely to fall through the cracks financially.

Give Help and/or Volunteer
The Ecology Center has set up a page just for the Sonoma Valley to coordinate volunteers, it is easy to use and people can sign up now. https://sonomavalleyvolunteers.org You will see the different organizations that need help and will be able to sign up for a time slot accordingly.
The City of Sonoma has a page for donations to be collected for food security in the Valley, https://www.sonomacity.org/food-security This page will feature four organizations in need of financial support. This is a centralized way to give and the goal is to streamline efforts.
Volunteer to shop for a senior or donate money to the Vintage House Delivers program for seniors 65+: https://vintagehouse.org/vintage-house-delivers/
Donate pet food or make a financial contribution to Pets Lifeline and/or F.I.S.H. so they can support families with pets.
